FLAIR is a design studio focused on helping clients develop their creative strategy and create content, from a future-thinking perspective.
The studio’s work focuses on three complementary lines of approach: creative consultancy, education and future thinking. Our work has thus far included brand creation, motion design, art installations, MOOC production and essay writing, to cite a few examples. TED, Intel, the city of Lyon, ESC Group, Michelin and Hikob are a few of the clients who have consulted FLAIR in recent years.
FIELDS AND ACTIVITIES
We have two modes of operation: overall and targeted strategy
FLAIR assists entrepreneurs, institutions and brands in their creative strategy and content creation. We have two modes of operation:
- Overall strategy: After identifying our client’s unique set of problems and conducting field studies, we accompany them over the long term in their creative strategy, creating customized teams for every project. We want to understand as much as possible about our client’s business and the problems they face in order to create resilient and relevant tools that can be used to address future challenges. We oversee everything from name creation to the production and monitoring of communication tools.
- Targeted strategy: We handle a specific communication need, anything from motion graphic design to the creation of a virtual reality experience. Thanks to our unique perspective towards potential futures we have developed expertise in new-media-based content creation: virtual reality, augmented reality, interactive installations…
Our mission is to create a great variety of tools and experiences so that future generations can reinvent the ways in which they approach learning.
FLAIR helps educators, universities and institutions create innovative educational material that’s suitable for multiple learner profiles.
We deeply value the importance of developing new and efficient learning experiences in partnership with educational teams. We create these experiences and incorporate them into our practice by drawing on new digital tools, MOOCs in particular. Our mission as designers is to continue testing and creating a great variety of tools and experiences so that future generations can reinvent the ways in which they approach learning.
How will our perceptions of the world evolve over the course of this century?
Our internal research work aims to explore potential futures through the lens of design. Our questions about the future are centered around societal issues in particular: how do technological advances create lasting changes in our societies, how will our perceptions of the world evolve over the course of this century?
This research work helps us question our societies and allows us to gain better insight into future challenges. This vision drives our creative work by allowing us to better understand future uses for the tools we create.
From this perpetual questioning of the world around us, this sincere curiosity about complexity, we hope to provide different perspectives on our societies and their potential futures.
